JOB DESCRIPTION

Position:                                Business Coordinator -1

Reports To:                            Executive Director

Term Status:                           Contract Basis

Qualifications:                       Master Degree in Management.  Concentration in Marketing, Business, or Communications preferred.

Experience:                            At least three years in marketing officer role within professional services environment.  Strong leadership and consensus building skills; marketing, management and strategic planning experience, a proven track record in developing and administering a marketing program.

Skills and ability:                   Spoken & written English proficiency. Good communication, writing and correspondence skills. Strong negotiation skills, able to work under pressure, exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills.

Computer knowledge on MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, E-mail, Internet and Nepali typing

Duties & Responsibilities

Company’s overall marketing, strategic planning programs and corporate communications Facilitate client development through marketing and client services programs.

  1. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  2. Design, implement, and facilitate annual marketing plan for the company.  Support and facilitate development and implementation of section business/marketing plans.
  3. Plan and administer the Company’s Marketing Operations budget; support development of regional marketing budgets.
  4. Writing proposals for new business; participate in planning and presentation sessions, when assigned.
  5. Develop and administer marketing database which includes client and prospect information, mailing list applications, access to financial reports, etc.
  6. Assist with and support company’s involvement in various training networks including coordinating business development and marketing activities via these relationships.
  7. Supervise  and monitor marketing  staffs focusing on sales target given to them
  8.  Organize regular meeting with clients.
  9.  Organize various trainings and workshop
  10. Coordinate with Resource Persons and Stakeholders
  11. Set Goal for business target and mobilize resources.
  12. Organize and implement client relations including:
  • client satisfaction surveys
  • client development activities
  • client skills training
  • special events
  • Oversee business development activities including:
  • Efforts through Business Development Coordinator
  • Offer coaching for prospective client meetings, presentations, etc.
  • external communications and systems
  • internal communications and systems
  • public relations efforts
  • external vendors and consultants

And other jobs assigned by Directors.

Reports To:                            Executive Director /Marketing/Coordinator/Marketing Officer

Term Status:                           Contract Basis

Qualifications:                       A professional degree in business or marketing is highly desirable for sales and marketing executives. Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree in any stream is the minimum educational qualification required.

Experience:                            At least two years in marketing representative role within professional services environment.

Skills and ability:                   Spoken & written English proficiency. Good communication, writing and correspondence skills. Strong negotiation skills, able to work under pressure, exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills. Computer knowledge on MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, E-mail, Internet and Nepali typing

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. The sales and marketing representative is responsible for bringing in the revenue of the organization. It is his/her job to market and sell the product or service to the customer and garner profits.
  2. He or She has to take part in developing the marketing strategy of the product with the help of other departments of the organization.
  3. He has to help in product placement.
  4. He or She has to deal directly with end consumers if the need arises.
  5. He or She has to coordinate all promotional, marketing and advertising activities.
  6. He or She has to take part in customer feedback surveys and work out ways to garner higher profits.
  7. He or She has to regularly liaison with advertising and media.
  8. He or She has to reach the target sales set up by his supervisor.
  9. He or She has to take part in sales meetings and present reports about the sales and marketing figures.

Skills and Specifications

  • A sales and marketing executive needs to possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to succeed in this profession.
  • Should have very good selling skills and should have a pleasing personality.
  • He should be persuasive, adaptable, innovative and problem – solving.
  • Should have good formal presentation skills as he may have to present his product or service to a group of people.
  • His stress-tolerance levels should be high as this profession is highly competitive.
